“To return to Ives’ question, “can the forest be music?” After all, there is organization, themes, forms, harmonies, melodies, tensions, and resolutions throughout the forest. Having spent time in residency here, I consider the forest to be more musical than anything I can ever create, and it served as a wonderful setting for me to create and explore new dimensions in my own musical output.” – Brigham Hall
