A Studio in the Woods Receives $15,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts

February 18, 2019

The National Endowment for Arts (NEA) has awarded a 2019 Art Works grant for $15,000 to A Studio in the Woods to support Adaptations Residencies! These residencies invite artists to examine how climate driven adaptations – large and small, historic and contemporary, cultural and scientific – are shaping our future. Art Works is the NEA’s principal grantmaking program. The agency received 1,605 applications for this round of grantmaking and awarded 972.

“The arts enhance our communities and our lives, and we look forward to seeing these projects take place throughout the country, giving Americans opportunities to learn, to create, to heal and to celebrate,” said Mary Anne Carter, acting chairman of the NEA.
