Courtney N. Baker is a clinical psychologist interested in systems-level interventions that promote the mental health and well-being of children and families. Dr. Baker utilized her time in residence to analyze data and draft an article reporting on the reliability and validity of the Attitudes Related to Trauma-Informed Care (ARTIC) Scale. The article was published in 2016, and the measure is widely used across settings implementing trauma-informed care.

Dr. Baker is interested in better understanding and facilitating the translation of effective prevention and intervention programs into community settings serving children and families. Her work is grounded in a community-based participatory research approach. More information about Dr. Baker’s research program can be found at www.courtneynbaker.com.
