Mollie Day is a New Orleans-based poet. She holds a masters degree in Creative Writing from the University of New Orleans and is a fellow of the Institute for Environmental Communications, Loyola University, New Orleans. Through her work, Mollie illustrates the indivisible ecological and cultural elements of certain landscapes as the extension and potential of what we are. She explores the interconnectivity of that which we tend to compartmentalize.

“I am ever thankful to A Studio in the Woods for reminding us all of the quiet places where one might just stop and watch the carrots grow.” – Mollie Day
