Emma Verstraete is a historical archaeologist and anthropologist who looks at the role of medicine and culture in how we understand the concept of health in the past and present.

While in residence, she will collaborate with Dr. Katie Lee to evaluate some of the data from her highly successful survey on period changes after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine.
