Earthing/Unearthing: Exploring Our Kinship with this Land

FREE WRITERS WORKSHOP, SATURDAY, MARCH 23, 10am-12:30pm, NEWCOMB HALL #119, TULANE UNIVERSITY

New Orleans Center for the Gulf South welcomes you to apply for a workshop with former A Studio in the Woods Adaptations Resident and renowned Puerto Rican-Jewish poet and scholar Aurora Levins Morales.

The workshop is called Earthing/Unearthing: Exploring Our Kinship with this Land. Levins Morales will use a collective process to probe stories about how we’re connected to the land and waters of the Gulf Coast. Participants will work together to name questions, examine contradictions, and craft new versions of kinship.
